Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Ohio Steel Industries is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to manage the daily Quality Control program in our fabrication shop.
Candidate must be familiar with AISC, AWS, and SSPC requirements and operate as a hands-on manager/inspector within the shop.
Responsibilities:
Candidate would be responsible for ensuring all requirements of our Quality Management System are met.
Work hand in hand with production personnel to meet schedule demands.
Perform visual inspections of all fabricated materials to AWS D1.
1 Oversee work and inspections of subordinate inspector or inspectors.
Maintain and develop WPS's and ensure welder qualifications are kept up to date.
Maintain Welder Certifications and testing.
Track all non-conformances.
Maintain all records to ensure traceability throughout the fabrication process.
Additional duties and responsibilities may be required, but not limited to the above.
Qualifications:
5
years as a fitter/welder or have QC experience.
Proficient in AWS D1.
1 Proficient in AISC Proficient in SSPC Certified Welding Inspector Education:
